Opens and tracking
I opened my own link and nothing showed up
Previews inside Echo never count. A real visit counts only after activity (scrolling, moving the pointer). Readers in the EU, UK and Switzerland must click Allow on the banner first, and browsers with Global Privacy Control are never tracked.
A lead shows visits nobody could have made
Email scanners open links automatically. Echo filters known scanners and headless browsers and waits for human activity, so these should not appear. If you see one, email us the lead and we will tune the filter.
Forwards look too high
A forward is a new browser on the same page. The same person on their phone and laptop counts as one forward. Treat it as a strong hint, not proof.
Campaigns
Some leads say Needs review
They are missing a first name or company, or an AI part came back empty. Open the lead, click Edit, fill it in, or use Write again. See Building and review.
The build stopped
Usually the monthly budget pause or a key problem. Check Usage and AI keys, then continue.
"The Free plan runs 1 live campaign at a time"
Archive the current campaign first, or upgrade. Archived campaigns still count toward tracked spaces. See Plans.
"Connect your own domain before publishing"
Your workspace has no active domain yet. Open Settings, Domain, add the records shown, and wait for Live. See Your domain.
Integrations
The card says Failing
The tool rejected the key, or it lacks a permission. Create a fresh key with the scopes listed in Integrations and reconnect.
Send links says leads are "not in the list"
Those leads' emails are not in the list you picked. Check you chose the right campaign, and that the emails match exactly.
My email shows an empty space where the link should be
The variable was empty when the email was sent. Run Send links before the step goes out, check the variable name, and add a fallback. See Using the link in your sequence.
My domain stays on "Waiting for DNS"
Check each record against Settings, Domain character by character, and use the Copy buttons. On Cloudflare, the CNAME must be DNS only (grey cloud). Some providers add your domain to the name automatically, so go.yourcompany.com becomes go.yourcompany.com.yourcompany.com; enter only go there. Most changes show within minutes, a few take hours. API and MCP
401 Missing or invalid API key
The header must be Authorization: Bearer echo_sk_... and the key must not be revoked. Check Settings, API. See API keys.
403 This API key is read-only
Create a Read and write key for imports, campaigns and Send links.
My MCP client shows no write tools
Read-only keys only list read tools. Use a read-and-write key.
Account
I cannot sign in
Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If your company uses Google, sign in with Google. Echo is invite-only in early access; ask your workspace admin for an invite.
